Display Showcases, Scenography
We bring cultural heritage, art and stories to life through bespoke museum and exhibition fabrication. From display cases and plinths to custom furniture, interactive exhibit structures and spatial installations, we turn design concepts into carefully crafted physical environments.
Combining wood, metal, glass, acrylic and composites with digital fabrication and skilled craftsmanship, we create replicas, reliefs, dioramas and scenic elements that enrich exhibition narratives. We manage the full production process, from technical detailing and fabrication to on-site installation.
THE MUSEUM OF
ANCIENT ORIENTAL WORKS
As part of the Exhibition Design and Fit-Out Works for Museum of the Ancient Oriental Works, carried out between 2024 and 2026, our company delivered museum showcases equipped with bespoke high-security locking systems, scenographic installations, in-showcase and open-display information labels, graphic information panels, object plinths, and other project-specific productions.
All engineering, manufacturing, and installation processes were executed through an integrated approach, in line with object safety, conservation requirements, and contemporary museum standards.
THE TILED KIOSK MUSEUM
As part of the Exhibition Design and Fit-Out Works for the Istanbul Tiled Kiosk Museum (Çinili Köşk), carried out between 2024 and 2026, our company delivered museum showcases, scenographic installations, information labels, graphic panels, object plinths, and a range of bespoke productions.
As one of Istanbul’s most significant historic structures, the Tiled Kiosk is not merely a setting for the collection—it is an integral part of the museum experience itself. The exhibition elements were therefore carefully produced and installed to respect the building’s original architecture, character, and cultural heritage, creating a balanced dialogue between the historic space and the displayed objects.
İSTANBUL
ARCHAEOLOGICAL
MUSEUMS
Between 2019 and 2021, Karınca carried out the production and implementation of exhibition elements for the Classical Building of the Istanbul Archaeology Museums.
The scope included scenographic installations, custom museum showcases, bespoke exhibition furniture, object display supports, showcase graphics, information panels, wayfinding and signage systems.
Combining metalwork, joinery, glass and acrylic applications, graphic production, lighting integration and various project-specific manufacturing techniques, each element was carefully produced and seamlessly integrated into the historic museum environment.
ÇİNİLİ HAMAM ZEYREK
MUSEUM
In 2023, Karınca carried out the production and installation of museum display elements for Çinili Hamam Zeyrek. The scope included custom-made artefact mounts for museum showcases, artefact labels positioned both inside and outside the showcases, UV-printed graphics on bespoke satin-finished acrylic surfaces, and wayfinding elements.
Each component was carefully manufactured and integrated into the historic setting to create a clear and coherent visitor experience.
The museum design was developed by Atelier Brückner. We would like to thank the Atelier Brückner team for their valued collaboration and creative contribution throughout the project.
GAZHANE MUSEUM
CLIMATE MUSEUM
Located in Istanbul’s former Hasanpaşa Gasworks, the Climate
Between 2021 and 2023, Karınca produced and installed all exhibition display elements for the Climate Museum at Istanbul’s former Hasanpaşa Gasworks. The project was developed in collaboration with do[x]architecture for exhibition design and Pompaa for graphic design.
Our production included large-scale lightboxes, illuminated graphics, printed visuals, information panels, chronological displays, bespoke seating and lighting elements. We also manufactured and installed the long display table and illuminated overhead structure on the mezzanine.

GAZHANE MUSEUM
SCIENCE CENTER
Between 2021 and 2022, Karınca produced and installed exhibition elements for the Science Center at Müze Gazhane, working with do[x]architecture on the exhibition design and Pompaa on the graphic design.
Our work included the production and application of exhibition graphics and wayfinding elements, as well as custom furniture made for the center’s learning and activity areas.

GAZHANE MUSEUM
LIBRARY, EVENT & SHARED SPACES
Karınca produced and installed all bespoke furniture for Müze Gazhane’s library, event areas and shared workspaces, working from the designs of do[x]architecture. Pompaa developed the project’s graphic design.
Our production included communal tables, shelving, seating, lockers, information desks and ticket counters. The warmth of birch plywood and the clean lines of the metalwork give these different pieces a consistent character across the spaces.

IMM - MUSEUM OF ISLAMIC
CIVILIZATIONS
We contributed to the Museum of Islamic Civilizations through bespoke fabrication and installation works. With careful attention to materials, craftsmanship, and detailing, we helped create an exhibition experience that places the artefacts at its heart and complements the museum’s architecture.
Bringing design to life, we combined aesthetic coherence with practical requirements to support the museum’s narrative.
